things i've learnt/did this ep camp:
> was a cook in the camp, taking care of their meals
> played mahjong
> learning to play bridge (a game using poker cards)
> bbq on volunteers' night
> played *zhong ji mi ma with the others
> have alot of interation with other volunteers
> found that kaixun is not that bad after all *haa
> didnt know that some of our volunteers like lishan, kaixun, yanhong, christine and cat knows how to play mahjong.
> make new friends like zi ming an kelvin
> found a new papa - charles (21 yrs old)
> new mama - rong zhen (7 yrs old?) *wahaha*
> spread the garlic sauce and cheese on a bread to make it taste like pizza
> ate ice-cream
> slack ard because no need to take trainee as we are cooking for meals o.ov

yeah.! ended camp this morning. it was so fun. lets talk about it slowly as i recall. i want to put everything down.
camp day eve (09/12)_
went to buy the neccessary things for the chalet. after that went for grace's caroling session at parco. but unfortunately, we (iL, mh, and i) are late, and the only thing we managed to heard was the last 3 sentences of the caroling. haa. and sadly, i cant figure out what they were singing. im sorry grace. haa.
anyway, after that, went to *pretty fit* to buy a pair of shoes for mh cuz her sandals snapped. patron *TheFaceShop* and bought a nail polish, 2 masks - one for mummy and one for me. ate foodcourt because the three of us were quite broke alrd. and as we went to walk ard after that, one of us suddenly rems that we forgot to buy chistmas present for our trainees. *gosh. so last min!
anyway, the present was finally settled when i woke up early the next day and went to cwp's kiddy palace and bought a basketball for teck peng. =)
brother helped me with the spagetti for their dinner the next day. the sauce was nice, but a lil spicy for me. =X
first day of camp (10/12)_
woke up at ard nine plus although i intended to sleep till 11. haa. just woke up on my own before my alarm clock rings. went to cwp and buy teck peng's present, and a few things from cold storage that we cant find in ntuc like ham.
met iL and mh in my house. by the time we got ready and hop onto the cab, it's ard 2.45pm, the time that we are supposed to be at the chalet ard. but luckily the driver is fast, so we reached ard 3.10pm. =) unloaded everything with the help of other volunteers, and the day starts. wo-hoo.!!!
they were having amazing race on the way. and i was told my dearest teck peng had fits when he was on the way to chalet. =(
started frying the chicken for the chicken burger, deep fried fries, getting the ingredients ready for the night's meal. quite busy. only till they settled down for the meal, den we are done. everything went quite smoothly. dinner was some sort of a menu style, food varies from burger with fries, spagetti, fried rice, chicken rice and curry chicken with french loaves. first time trying this kinda thing out, as in in a menu style which you can choose. not that bad i supposed. haa. but shit. the kitchen was infested with ants. tons and tons of ants. =X
me, iL and mh cleared the things and cleaned up the kitchen as they had their treasure hunt, trainees searching for their christmas present. wasnt involved. so dunno how the whole programme went. was busy clearing up. only know that guirong was the santa claus and was taking photos with the trainees. =D haa. you should have seen his santa claus suit. he looked so funny. haa. *im so mean to laugh. =S
den when i finally have time to walk ard and see what they are doing, i was caught by gim and he told me to prepare for the log cake and fruits that is to be served later. =(
log cake was not bad, just that's it's quite creamy. i dun like to eat creamy cake. =S but had quite alot of apples.
den started clearing up again. washed the floor of the kitchen. sat ard the dining area and talked with mh and iL. played the word snake game and the lame tissure box game. haa. funny.
after that we went to sit in the second floor's living room and watch a lil tv and get ken to sleep while the trainee's siblings were preparing for the story telling session of *the three lil pigs*
went back to the kitchen again. had some rounds of cold jokes from charles daddy. =X
played bridge after that. lOl.! that was the toughest poker card game that i've ever played. till now i think i only mastered ard 40-60% of the game. gotta ask my brother to teach me. but charles daddy was good in playing it. haa. chuan hui too. =) played some rounds with them, from second floor to the first floor dining room.
went up to the living room again and talked to the others and watch a lil pokemon with the trainees. soon it was like 12+ alrd. so many ppl went to sleep alrd. except for boon kwang and adeline. den the younger batch of volunteer started playing bridge again. till late night. and i mean till real late. haa. like 3+? yeps. but i wasnt really focusing, so must as well go up to the livin room and talk to gui rong. plus kai xun and gim, sok gek and chuan ting joined us after that, while settling adeline down. she was busying pulling ppl and tugging ard.
talked with them. den some commotion happened. joel jumped out of the window and ran away. we decided to keep it low key and the few of us started searching ard. kaixun and gim went out to find. but cant find him. so i went to tell yanhong and the rest. everyone went to search for him and found him nearby highground of the chalet. it was so dangerous. he actually jumped out of the window. second storey okay! what if we cant find him? cant thing about it anymore. they tied and lock all the windows. check once and once again.
was too tired after that. decided to sleep before waking up to prepare breakfast. but just as i close my eyes and sleep, it started to howl and rain outside. adeline began to pull me and started to get high up. she pulled my hair. that was so pain.! =(
escape in progress. went to the dining room to watch the other play bridge. fell asleep. but only for like less than half an hour, it's time to prepare for breakfast. *yawn.
second day (11/12)_
breakfast was roti prata and sandwiches. fried the roti prata. it was quite good. den slack ard. the three of us preparing the food, iL, mh and me were almost dead after the breakfast. and i didnt eat anything too. hmm. we went ard finding a place to sleep, and we found a good place. haa. charles daddy's car. wasnt very comfortable though. sleep for like half an hour and i was woken up by kaixun's voice. super sensitive to his voice. haa. actually he's quite nice lar. saw him playing with boon kwang the night before and it look so sweet from the smile of both of their face. haa.
okay. anyway, went out with charles daddy to develop photos and buy lunch. that was when he become our daddy. bacause i was lacking of sleep, den was kinda mad alrd. anyhow press the machine in the shop. den he said," dun anyhow press. later daddy buy you drink." so he was my daddy alrd. haa.
den after buy zarifah's lunch too. i was holding on to his wallet and paying mar. den think the lady thought we are a couple, den smiled at us. den charles said im his daughter. lOl. so funny. you should have seen the woman's face.! it changed. lOl.
haa. den lunch. they make their own photo frames and we slacked. followed by breaking camp for the trainees. it's going to be the volunteers' night! *wahaha. stayed in the chalet while waiting with mh and iL while waiting for the rest of the volunteers who are sending the trainees back to kembangan. ate alot after they left. eat *gou tie* - dumplings, nuggets and drink milk. i dun like to eat those food that i cook. any kinda food. i dun understand why too. haa. a good way of being on diet, to cook food myself. haa.
den chuan ting came back, looking for sok gek's purse. they thought it was lost, but it was later found in chuan hui's bag, who went back to do project. this 3 sisters. haa.
den we started playing the ah-ma version of mahjong because iL and mh just learnt the game. so have to play really slowly. haa. den guirong came. they took cab back. played one or 2 rounds with him. and the rest went to see the *escape route* of joel.
den claimed recipt from hui ngee. started preparing for the bbq, getting the fire started. and laugh and talk. den at 7+, finally can bbq alrd. haa. stone ard. ate ice-cream. talked to yimin about ep. iL went back home cuz the next day she's having obs. played *zhong ji mi ma, and indian poker. met 2 new friends, zi ming from RO and kelvin from bktg.
den went to bath. the rest were watching tv on the second floor living room. den i went to play mahjong with kaixun, lishan and andrew. verna was learning. and so funny. i went to the toilet, asking verna to help me stack tiles. but her counting was wrong. i dunno how to expalin. but i was very very funny. so the rest told me when i came back and i was drinking water laughing like hell. i spilled. lOl. err. in a merlion style. on the floor and almost choke. haa. damn funny.
den played bridge and big2 for the whole night with them. super lack of sleep. decided to sleep for awhile. they played mahjong and bridge till the morning. and saw a super big spider, almost a palm size in the groundfloor toilet. missed the good shows. haa. but kelvin was quite funny. the way he talked and action. he's studying in sajc, same batch as my brother.
last day (12/12)_
end camp in the morning. woke up at ard 6+ although i set my alarm at 7. when i went down to the kitchen, guirong was trying to do some scramble egg. but the wok caught fire. how great his cooking was.! *sacarstic. haa. and the whole dining room plus kitchen was filled with smoke. haa. so i quicky took a basin of water and guirong 'killed' the fire. that was mad! haa. hui ngee was laughing like hell. everyone was too. den mh they all came to the kitchen. kelvin and i helped guirong with his big plan of cooking scramble eggs. i heard it's not bad. haa. didnt try it. kelvin had to demonstrate once before we allow him to cook. he had so much sense of accomplishment. haa.
den wash everything, including the oily kitchen. kelvin helped to scrab the floor for me while i water it. everyone was packing up. we see to it that everything that is supposed to be in the place is in where they are. but 1 fork was missing. den off we went. haa. sadly, chuan ting lost her slippers.
walked quite a long way to the office of aloha. kelvin helped me take my plastic bag of containers which was quite heavy. was super dyhadrated on the way. =X was feeling unwell alrd. and andrew's water makes me even sick cuz got a very disgusting taste. ate chocolate to wash it down.
took bus to tampines mall to eat. had lunch there. den when back home, taking train with mh, ernest and kelvin.
went to watch harry potter after that. it was extremely nice. i think i like this better among the 4 series of harry potter. although it's in a lil fast pace, but i think the first 3 parts are lke innocent edition, and this one is the growing up edition of hp and friends. nice. but quite disappointed that there was not much plot between hp and the chinese girl. and it was very sad at the part that after he fought with voldemort, he saw the soul of his parents and dickery. and when he bought dickery's body back, he cried. i mean i can understand how hp felt at that very moment. it nv gave me such feelings for other shows. it's like so what if you have won the game, you've lost a friend. nv able to come back again. and when the dad cried, sad. hais. suddenly thought of the phrase, *shu le ni, ying le shi jie you ru he?* whats the point of having the whole world but losing you. =(
and i think ron is so timid! haa. just ask hermonie out for the ball lar. you like her but you dun dare to say. haa. jk rowling made ron weasley look so *ham-ji* haa.
after that really too tired alrd. went home to sleep. haa. but have to shit first. lOl.
going to sleep again now. so byebye and goodnight.! =)
