Been going to school these few days for projects, and I have been enjoying myself. I've realised that I like who I am these few days and I feel genuinely happy for that within myself. (: And partially, I think it has been quite long since we enjoyed ourselves during our discussion for projects, even though Sean just sit in and listen to us talking. LOL.
Alright! Shall update about the ACID (Annual Camp for Intellectually Disabled) Camp now. :D
After attachment on Friday, as I was walking out of the centre with Huizhen, I was grinning away like nobody's business because I feel so damn excited about the camp that was going to take place in the night. Heehee. And Huizhen thought I was on the verge of going mad and crazy. LOL. And I even messaged Minhui and Hui Ngee about it. Haha.
And so, I went home to finish my halfway-packed bag and rush off to meet Minhui at BP. This time, I was the one who was late. LOL. Then we went off to buy McDonald for dinner, which turned out to be supper for me because I didn't have time to eat it. Haha. Took bus to PJC and waited with Charles Daddy for EP to reach. While waiting, we saw Lee Chiu and Libei. (:
Whee! After they've finally reached, we went to unload our bags in the classroom and went up to the hall for ice breaker activities. Okay, just want to say, I really like Brent. Heehee. I've been taking him on and off throughout the camp. Even though he is non verbal and likes to lean around everywhere, anywhere, but I just like him. (: He's just so adorable even if he's not easy to be taken care of. (: So yeaps, I took Junxian together with Teck Peng for the time being before Christine came over and took JX. And then, Brent and Gerald came. ((:

And then, before long, it's nearly 10 and time for wash up and bedtime. (:
I always like first night during ACID because I know that the trainees don't sleep and I too, like the trainees, don't feel like sleeping too. So at least I have something to do in the night, that is to coax them to sleep? LOL. I think I am preparing myself to be a great mother, coaxing my kids to sleep in the night in case that they don't feel like sleeping. LOL. That sounds so wrong. Hahaha. And then, when the second night comes, I'll be too tired to do anything to coax them except for patting them on their stomach and tell them to sleep. Haha.
Oh, anyway, I went to Minhui's house to bathe on the first night since everyone (I-Lin, Grace, Munjee, Minhui) are returning home to wash up and rest for a while. Might as well go somewhere to bathe comfortably right? Don't have to squeeze with the rest of the trainees and volunteers. :D
And we had our McDonald (which were meant to be dinner) for supper. Went to 7-11 to help Charles Daddy to buy Christine Mummy's supper. LOL. And Christine wanted to be my husband! Because we bought food for her instead of Charles Daddy. Anyhow, we stayed up till 3am in the morning to guard the trainees, supper and chit chat too. (:
I guess there's always the lack-of-sleep post effect when we slept at 3am and tried to wake up at 6.30am. LOL. I-Lin and I snoozed our alarm three times before waking up. As usual, washed up and breakfast. We deely-dally so much that we missed the morning exercise. Might as well lar. LOL. No excess energy to do excercise anymore! Haha.
After breakfast, we had some activities (I forgot what activities we did already due to short term memory. LOL) before going out to Jurong Point for the so-called Treasure Hunt. And then lunch time at NUS. Oh! I don't know what I keep having problem getting Teck Ann and Teck Peng to eat their food during meal time. It's like they've always like FOOD. Generally any food. But lately, they have been developing weird eating habits such as not eating rice. It had been such a difficult task to get them to finish up their food. PPFFT!
And then we went back to PJ for killing-ears activities. LOL. The organising committee put up a sing-a-long session together with Marsiling Secondary's choir. I mean, how bad can a choir get? BUT! It's the 'lead singer'(one of the committee member) who grabbed the mic and have it all by herself who is terrible. The first one sang somewhat like half an octave higher than the music for 小人物的心声 which obviously means out of tune and the second one sang in a kiddish way which she didn't shape her voice and it turned out that she's yelling when the pitch got higher and higher.

But we had fun laughing. They're such an entertainment that the whole EP group kept moving backwards, towards the exit of the hall. LOL. We had balloon sculpture after the ears-torturing session. It was alright, but the balloonist was extremely fast in twisting and turning the balloons. And he made cartoon characters like tweety bird, duffy duck, donald duck and many more. I was just wondering if he knows how to make mickey mouse or not. Haha. And he wore the clown shirt which made me extremely uneasy. LOL. Shouldn't have watched 咒乐园 in the first place. Bleah. ):
Anyhow, I am glad that Gerald find those Mambo songs irritating too. LOL. :D
Dinner time. Pull and tug war with Teck Ann and Teck Peng again. Boo. ): Then briefing for night activities again. I think there's movie screening and station games. But I-Lin, Grace and I didn't join in as usual. LOL. We were too tired after a long day. So after settling our trainees down, we decided to go to Grace's house for bathing since there's a long queue in the shower room and her house is only like 10mins walk away from school.
So after we bathe bathe, talk talk, rest rest and nap nap, it was near 12. We rushed back to school since the guard said we should reached back by 12.
And then, after some tibits and drinks, my freak-out night began. =X
After I went in and coax Teck Peng to sleep, Yinhong told me that Goon Tat took Teck Ann for a walk since he was disturbing everyone. It had been an hour plus since they went for a walk. I mean, what kind of walk last for an hour? They should have been back long ago but where the hell are they? So we decided to walk around the school and look for them. All kinds of ideas form inside us. Like maybe we'll find Teck Ann's body somewhere lying in school. Or maybe Goon Tat will abuse TA or bring him to an isolated corner and do bad things to him. =X Those thoughts are crazy.
So after walking around 3times around the school to look for them, we decided to go back to the classroom and get more help. Seriously, I was kind of freak out because such things has never ever happened before. How am I/us supposed to answer to their mother? The parents entrusted their kids with us, hoping that they will be in safe hands but what now? Her son is missing. BOO. I felt like crying then.
So Gerald, I-Lin, Grace and I went to walk around the school again. We basically combed the area, even the darkest corners in the school. It really feels eerie if you walk down the corridors, hoping to see the both of them but the other part of you hope that you wouldn't see any dirty things. =X After walking around for like at least 40mins, we finally found them near the track, SLEEPING ON THE HIGH JUMP MATTRESS! WHAT THE @#$%^&*! They were sleeping so comfortably while everyone else are frantically looking for them. PPFFT!
Alright. Sighh. At least they are safe and sound already.
Bedtime. And we all fell asleep as soon as our head touched the sleeping bag. ZZZ.
Woke up at 6.50am after snoozing for a few times. LOL. Breakfast, then station games again. We had fun fishing excluding standing under the scorching sun. LOL. Packed up and gathered at the hall. A round of photo taking session. (: And then, off we went home! Heehee.
It always feels good after ACID camp every year. It feels so fulfilling and all the things you've done over the weekend during the camp will fill up your heart and makes it feel contented. I like the feeling. (: It simply feels wonderful. (:
