Attachment started this week and it is extremely tiring. But I like attachment, except for the time when the children are having their naps. LOL. It always makes me feel like sleeping also. YAWN. *Covers mouth.
I have been having heartburn so often these days that I think I must be dying. LOL.
Anyhow, conclusion: Attachment is tiring yet fun. (:
Laura sent me an email! Eh, this sentence sounds kind of funny since technology is so convenient right now, but nevermindd. It still feels lovely to receive a personalised email. (: Even though she was asking a favour. =P Haha. This woman has an apple of her eye in the centre! TSKTSK! That's not supposed to be the way, Laura! LOL.
I am taking the K2s. They're wild, I tell you! Super wild. Haha. I haven't practice my classroom management until now since I haven't been officially taking them for classes and most of the time, the other teacher is around too. Because Teacher Vasanthi, my mentor, has been taking up relief classes for the Nursery class, I have been staying in the K2 class with the Chinese teacher, 倪老师. She's nice and cheerful and cute and pretty and smiley. To me only. But not to the kids. LOL. She seriously looked like a 母夜叉 to me when she is with the children. And somemore, she's from China. LOL. But she's one of the 'alrights' among the people from her hometown to me. And OH! She's pregnant! :D
I think for now, the class seriously need some proper classroom management technics on them because their teachers have not been practice 'handsigns' like clenching the fist to show silence and etc. For all you know, the field supervisor might be very particular about classroom management! Bleah.
And OH! There's this kid I like the most. LOL. The apple of my eye too! Heehee! Laura, I have one too! And his name is.... Kelvin. LOL. It just so happened that he is of that name. (: He always have the blur look on his face and when the teachers call on him, his expression is so innocent! But prolly innocent face = know nothing at all = irritates the teachers. LOL. There are always some funny characters in the class too. Like Kimberline. She likes to look at you and try to attract your attention. Usually I'll ignore her and look elsewhere because her seeking for attention behaviour is too frequent. Then there's this girl call Corin. She likes to suck up to the teachers. LOL. Say I went in to the bay this morning wearing skirt. Then she'll come running to me and tell me, "Teacher, today you wear skirt ar? You looked so pretty!" And in the afternoon, I've realised that she said it to the chinese teacher too, because she wore a new dress.
-_-"
So, yeah. That's Corin.
And OH! This girl that I like the most. LOL. Xinyi! (Laura, not you! =P) Xiao Xinyi. She has high language ability in Chinese. Because her parents are from China, duh! And she always have this blur and stony look on her after naptime. And I think it's adorable. And moreover, she always plays with Kelvin. Heehee! :D There was once I saw her playing with Kelvin's hair, poking and twinning. And Kelvin just let her do it. :D I think it's sweet lar. Haha. 青梅竹马耶! Whee!
Anyhow, during the one hour break, my partner, Huizhen, and I went to explore around the neighbourhood. LOL. We've been to the Sembawang Mart and Sun Plaza already. This is the third day only and we felt bored. LOL. OHOH! I wanna blog about the food in the centre. LOL. Faint, I tell you! The centre cooks 1 dishes only everyday. The first day, they threw the cube cucumber, carrots and fish into the steamer with gravy. The fish has the soil smell. Bleah. The second day we had soup with vegetable, carrots, chicken, celery and BARLEY in it. Eh, I can't believe that they actually put BARLEY in the soup! LOL. Initially I thought the barleys were in the rice. BUT THEY ARE NOT! LOL. They were in the soup! Arh. Okay, I think I sounded so traumatised. LOL. I am. Because all along I thought barley is a dessert, a sweet drink which I quite like.
-_-"
Enough of centre news. (: But come to think of it, other than that, I don't think there's anything else to blog about already, since it's a big HU-HA thing for me this week. (:
